Doing the RIGHT thing!

You might say real estate runs through my veins! My father, two brothers and four of my nieces and nephews are all successful realtors. Now, my daughter is getting her license and joining “Clan MacMillan”.

I got my real estate license in August 2002, and was showing houses the next day with a buyer. I had an offer on a home two days later. I’ll never forget that first sale. Not so much because I sold something, but I knew then that I had a huge responsibility. My first client had waited patiently for me to get my license before he started looking at homes. He had faith in my abilities because he’d been dealing with me since he was sixteen for insurance. He knew I was honest, dedicated, loyal and educated and would help him make a good decision when buying.

Over the years, the number of sales has never fed my passion. What drives me is “doing the right thing”. This phrase doesn’t just apply to famous building contractors. Knowing that I am responsible for finding the best home in the right price range and ultimately seeing the joy in my clients when they buy or sell their home is what I find rewarding. I take the time to know what matters. I listen to the needs and dreams of my clients. When I list a home I am respectful and treat their home and time with care. I educate my clients and point out any concerns I may have on a property. Having a strong insurance background is a real asset. My clients have the faith and knowledge that I will always have their best interests at heart because they matter. They know I’ve got their back.
